cubic inch V8, rated at 200 Horsepower at 4400 rpm. All had a 7.62:1
compression ratio. All were 4BBL equipped cars.
1 This denotes California usage only. Manual transmissions were not available for use in California in 1974. The 1974 GTO's that were sold in California were equipped with M38 transmissions (hydra-matic) and a 3:08:1 rear axle.
